All-In-One Design
For entry-level enthusiasts, DJI now brings out the most cost-effective solution, the NAZA-M Lite flight control system. As the simplified version of NAZA-M, it inherits the high reliability and stability of NAZA-M. The innovative All-in-one design simplifies installation and saves space and weight. It contains inner damping, controllers, 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer and barometer in its light and small Main Controller. It can measure flying altitude, attitude and therefore can be used for autopilot/automatic control.
Advanced Attitude Stabilize Algorithm
The advanced attitude stabilization algorithm not only inherits the outstanding flight stability of DJI products, but also provides excellent maneuverability. It is more flexible and stable, and gives the hobbyists a wonderful flight experience.
Multiple Flight Control Mode/Intelligent Switching
It offers three types of control modes: GPS Atti. Mode (with GPS module), Atti. Mode, Manual Mode. The pilot can switch between the three modes to achieve different flight characteristics. It also can adjust automatically within the flight environment and intelligently switch between GPS Atti. Mode and Atti. Mode to make sure the flight is safe and secure.
GPS Module Available/Accurate Position Hold
The plug and play GPS module will greatly enhance the performance for Aerial Photography with accurate Position Hold, Return-To-Home and Intelligent Orientation Control functionalities. With the GPS Module, the multi-rotor will have position and altitude locked accurately even in windy conditions. Hovering accuracy is approximately 2.5m horizontal and 0.8m vertical.
Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)
Usually, the forward direction of a flying multi-rotor is the same as the nose direction. By using Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC), wherever the nose points,the forward direction has nothing to do with nose direction.
Failsafe Mode
If your transmitter supports failsafe, then you can set failsafe through port-U. Naza controller has built-in auto level failsafe function, which means when the communication between MC and the transmitter is disconnected, the outputs of all command sticks from controller will go to center position. If the GPS module is used, you can also set RTH on failsafe. If your transmitter has only 4 channels, then MC will work in Atti. Mode by default without the failsafe function.
Low Voltage Protection
In order to prevent your multi-rotor from crashing or other harmful consequences caused by low battery voltage, we have designed two levels of low voltage protection. You can choose not to use this, however we strongly recommend you to enable the protection. Both levels of protection have LED warning as default. The first level will blink the red light continuously; the second level will blink red light continuously and the multi-rotor will descend and land. In manual mode when low voltage protection is triggered the LED warning will be active only.
Support Futaba S-Bus And PPM Receiver
Minimum Four channel receiver supported, also PPM and Futaba S-Bus receiver supported.
PPM & S-Bus receivers (the general use of the first 8 channels of S-Bus receiver) to optimize the channel connection, the A, E, T, R, U five-channel functions are set using channel X2, use only one servo cable to connect the PPM or S-Bus to X2, this makes installation quick and easy, not easy to make mistakes.

Built-In Gimbal Stabilization Function
The gimbal stabilization module is compatible with almost all 2-axis gimbal systems. The system will adjust the gimbal and camera according to the attitude of the aircraft after setting the parameters the first time.
Remote Adjustment
The default parameter settings are OK for you to achieve a normal flight, and it also supports remote parameter adjustment by using a control slider on the TX during flight, in order to obtain better performance.

Hardware Install Questions
1.Does it support multicopters with only 3 propellers included?
No, it doesn't.
2.Does it support Spectrum transmitters and receivers?
Yes, it does.
3.Do I need to use BEC power seperated in order to power the MC?
No need, VU already includes BEC function.
4.Can I use Y wire to connect two motors?
In principle, one MC port connect to one ESC and one motor.
5.What can I do, my aircraft always drifts forward?
Never move aircraft within 5s after power it on. No trim in your transmitter.
6.Low-Voltage Warning is available in manual mode or not?
Yes,Low-Voltage Warning is available in manual mode.
7.Arming makes motors tune too fast or too slow, what can I do?
Please change Motor Idle Speed through assistant software.
8.Please explain why computer doesn't recognize USB device?
Make sure driver has been installed sucessfully, PMU should be connected to LED port of MC, not Ext port.
9.Which OSD can support NAZA?
NAZA has no OSD function, 3rd part OSD product can be used.

No,It can't be used on helicopter.
3.Why is my NAZA-M not stable in a low-temperature environment?
Place your aircraft outside for minutes firstly.
4.What's the usage of NAZA-M EXT port?
Used for GPS Module.
5.Does NAZA-M support PPM receiver?
Yes, it does.
6.Some aircrafts with Naza installed drift a lot, and some are very stable. Why is that?
You can not have position lock without Naza GPS module. The flight performance will affected a lot by the environment,such as windy condition, mechanically setup, center of gravity, etc.
7.When my Naza takes-off in attitude mode it drifts to one side, why?
Please check the motors and ESCs. It is also possible that the NAZA sensor error is too big, please connect to the assistant software and calibrate the IMU.
8.When I push the throttle stick the Nana-M is not responding, why?
In order to prevent faulty operation, you need to execute CSC. Please check the user manual for detailed instructions.
9.When I execute CSC, motors are not responding, why?
Please observe the LED flashing status.
Four yellow flashes means preheating, and after preheating it will be OK.
Four green flashes means there is a sensor error, please connect to the assistant software and calibrate the IMU.
Four red flashes means the sticks are not in center position, please connect the software and calibrate the transmitter.
10.The LED lights are flashing normally, but when I execute CSC, motors still have no response?
Please check the power supply connection.
Please check the transmitter stick commands and its channel mapping in the software, it has to be consistent and makes full range sliding. Also check the throttle and pitch channel mapping.
11.Why does the LED flash yellow & red continuously after power on?
It means the compass has been compromised, please calibrate the compass.
12.Can I use the LED/GPS of V2 on V1 or Lite?
No, you cannot.

13.show ERROR, the aircraft cannot take off?
The internal sensor may break down because of collision. Please contact local dealer for after-sales service.
14.It asked me for SN after I install the assistant software, where can I get the SN?
The SN has already been entered, no need to input again. This is because you did not connect the main controller or you did not install driver correctly.
15.I followed the instruction to register, but I have not received any activation email?
Please confirm your email address is correct or check the spam mail.
It is recommended to use Gmail, hotmail, etc for registration.
16.After I assembled the aircraft and flight controller, every time I try to take-off it flips away?
Please read the user manual carefully, this may be caused by incorrect installation. Please check:
1. the orientation of the main controller;
2. the rotate direction of the motor and propeller;
3. the ESCs are in the correct port;
4. set the correct mixer type in the software;
17.The aircraft is circling around when hovering, and the circle is getting bigger and bigger, I almost lost control of it?
The compass has been compromised. Please calibrate the compass. If the problem cannot be solved, please refer to the user manual 'Toilet Bowl Effect'.
18.Why the yellow light is still blinking when I switch to GPS mode?
The main controller failed to identify the GPS &compass module. Please check the connection.
Software Settings Questions
1.Does the Assistant software support Mac?
No, currently it only works on Win XP, Win7, Win8.
2.After registering with Assistant Software, I still can't log in?
Please log in your emial box, and click the link to activate the register firstly, then you can enter the software with the email and password to log in.
3.What can I do when software and main controller can't be connected?
The assistant driver has not been installed sucessfully. With MC powered firstly, USB cable connected, then install the driver.
4.How to deal with the configuration error?
Please calibrate your transmitter sticks and then restart MC.
5.No reaction from motors during arming, what should I do?
Please refer detailed instructions in the manual. Start software to check if the control stick on your transmitter can reach the full range, directions are correct or not. Please unplug USB when you do the testing.
6.Flight Parameters recommended for Flame Wheel F550?
Default parameters are 100% normally, but it can be adjusted according to actual flight conditions and different control feeling.
7.How to set up 3-switch for flight control mode?
Connect switch channel to U channel of MC, use Trim menu to adjust 2nd switch to Atti. Mode, use End Point to adjust 1st and 3rd switch for Manual mode and GPS mode.
8.How to set up Fail-Safe?
Make sure all channels of your transmitter include Fail-Safe, adjust any one of the 3 switch control modes to Fail Safe mode, then record the position value in Fail Safe of your Tx. After that, switch to other control mode and turn off the transmitter, assistant software show it jumps into Fail Safe mode and meantime LED shows blue ligh, setup is done.
9.How to match propellers and motors?
Very important to match Props and motors to get good flight performance. 900KV motor matching 8-10 inches Props are recommended.
10.My Red LED is flashing quickly, what is the problem?
Connect MC with software to check what problem is and then find out a corresponding solutions.
11.Where should the main controller be placed?
MC has to be installed close to C.G. No need any damping, just use 3M double-side sticker.
12.What mode should be used in Transmitter?
Set your model type as Airplane.
13.Does the software support Vista OS?
Yes, it does.
14.The height can't be locked, why?
Adjust vertical gain, use defaul throttle curve and 50% throttle for hovering.
15.Why my Windows 7 OS cannot install the assistant software driver successfully?
Some of the users who use WINDOWS 7 operating system may not have the usbser.sys file, please download this file and put it into C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers, and then reinstall the driver.
